A Great Day!
Webpass Inc is now officially part of the Google Fiber family! I’d like to thank everyone at Google Fiber for welcoming our staff, our brand, and our culture so warmly. We are very excited to join forces and remain dedicated to providing the best service possible to all of our current and future customers. Dennis Kish addresses our joint sentiment and vision of the future in the Google Fiber blog post here
I’ve added a few FAQs specifically for Webpass customers, but our plans are perfectly aligned with the future that Dennis outlines in the blog post. Webpass customers are the true beneficiaries of this transaction finalizing.
Q. How will Webpass work with Fiber in the future?
A. Google Fiber and Webpass have amazing engineers, and both value great customer service and operations. Together we have the opportunity to scale last-mile access via point-to-point fixed wireless to more buildings, faster.
Q. Is Webpass now Google Fiber?
A. Webpass and Google Fiber will continue to be operated separately, although we share the common goal of providing abundant access via point-to-point wireless solutions. In the meantime, there will be no changes for current Webpass or Google Fiber customers, who will continue to get the same great services they love.
Q. Is Webpass going to single family homes?
A. At this point our strategy remains multiple-unit buildings.
